Another amazing week is behind us, and I am excited to start these regular weekly recaps from the NFT world. Each day in this space is special, and it's incredible to see how much progress is collectively done just within one week.

Innovators are the first 2.5 percent of a group to adopt a new idea. The next 13.5 percent to adopt an innovation are labeled early adopters. Then it is the rest. With only hundreds of thousands of people being here yet, I am so excited we're so ahead of the curve. Each of us makes a difference, and I can't wait the time we say in a few years on, “we have made this world a better place.”

Crypto prices down, NFT people remain good vibes

The beginning of the week was all about the crypto prices plunging. The crypto people were panicking, and some of them got liquidated (typical when trading on margin, the positions get automatically liquidated, resulting in an even bigger drop). The NFT people were smiling and making memes because we know that NFT prices tend to go up when ETH is down.

Well, and besides the NFT people, Michael Saylor from MicroStrategy and Nayib Bukele from El Salvador buys the dip too…😏

Our JPEGs becoming brands✨

Cool Cats announced a new CEO. This is big for the NFT space because we can slowly see that our JPEGs are turning into big IP brands with the potential of becoming new Walt Disney's and Nike's in the future. When listening to Phil Knight talking about the beginnings of Nike in his 'Shoe Dog' memoir, the beginnings weren't much different. Same as no one expected Mickey Mouse back in the 30s to eventually turn into over $3 billion household name for children and adults.

Time to load the boat or let it flow?

$FLOW is hitting a new all-time low while many NFT community members are bullish. Created by NBA Top Shot developer Dapper Labs (Roham the CEO), Flow is a proof of stake blockchain designed for NFT collectibles and crypto games. Some rumours from the last week suggest Facebook/IG could use it for their NFT adoption. We shall see 👀

The World of Women and the Royal Club

Record sales in WoW NFT project led by Yam Karkai and BBA.eth. Woman #9248 was purchased for a record 260 eth and #706 for 210 eth. All these women have gold necklaces and gold earrings traits, including them in the Royal Club. It means the holders take 2% of WoW’s monthly transaction royalties and splits that amongst 19 holders. This means holders have gotten 10-20 eth of royalties per month based on volume. It is exciting to see how quickly the space evolves and how the collections are finding new ways of bringing value to their communities.

Opensea bug let hackers buy NFTs for cheap

Monday morning I woke up and saw Apes being sold for incredibly low prices. People were panicking about the new loophole on Opensea, letting attackers buy NFTs that were previously listed and not properly cancelled. Simply, you listed your Ape back in May when the floor was below 1 eth, transferred it to a different wallet and back, and the previous listing got activated. To fix it, people were jumping on Rarible Marketplace to use their orders manager to inactivate their previous listings because Opensea hadn't had any. This space is wild, and always keep in mind to protect your assets!

Apes strong with red eyes

The BAYC mobile game competition ended, and the Apes went all-in, as always! At the same time, the MAYC floor hit 20 eth and OG Apes are heading to break 100 eth. Congrats to all the winners! What an incredible journey!
