Here is what fascinated me this week...

Gm fam,

Here is what I learned and found fascinating this week:

What fascinated me

1/ Onboarding people into digital art through IRL installations. I love it because it shows non-NFT people the beauty of digital art.

2/ This story of a Brazilian woman who claimed free CryptoPunks now worth $20 million is a reminder to always explore new things that the majority says are worthless.

3/ China has been opening up to Web3, and Karen's performance with a CryptoPunks dress on national TV is a significant step in embracing digital pop culture in Asia. This is a bold move, hardly imaginable just a year ago.

AI things that fascinated me…

4/ AI will be integrated into every Web3 game. A video from NVIDIA illustrates how AI-generated NPCs (non-player characters) will interact with players in real time. This has massive implications for metaverses that currently suffer from being lifeless and empty. AI characters equipped with wallets (ERC-6551) will populate these worlds, making them lively.

5/ Photoshop now has the capability to generate any background. I've started using it for designing my Instagram posts, and it works perfectly.

6/ I've replayed this 9dcc video three times because it’s too good. Even Elon liked it.

7/ ERC-6551 enables each NFT to have its own wallet. I created a thread to explain its importance and implications. To my surprise, the thread went viral, so I spent a few hours responding to all the comments, haha. :)

On Saturday, I'll be interviewing the creators of ERC-6551, so feel free to tune in.

Threads that provided value

1/ 3 things to focus on when growing your audience on social media.

2/ How to apply the Hero’s Journey framework when creating content.

3/ Deep philosophical thoughts about the value of art.

Routine I started

Every Sunday, I write down things I’ve done this week and ask myself:

Did the actions I took this week bring me closer to my goals?

The things I answer with a clear 'NO' are the ones to drop.

The things with a clear 'YES' are the ones to double down on.

This allows me to focus on what matters instead of going on autopilot.

Reminder

Discipline needs no motivation.

Have a beautiful weekend fam,

Beast.
